Transients (produced by Robert Rif + Mikael Prey) follows The Sons of God, artists Leif Elggren + Kent Tankred, as they wander in the debris of an abandoned city – its history and fate uncertain. A journey takes place among the ruins, what once was or is to be. Entrapped spirits summoned or the protagonists overtaken by forces unknown?

Phil Hopkins’ Amplified Gesture is a film about the art of musical improvisation, which is a product of the mind of the British musician David Sylvian (the film’s executive producer) as a complement to his latest album, Manafon. The film is directed by Phil Hopkins, and explores the art of improvisation by means of interviews and conversations with some of its most renowned exponents, several of whom also worked with Sylvian on Manafon: Otomo Yoshihide, Toshimaru Nakamura, Christian Fennesz, Keith Rowe, Eddie Prévost, Evan Parker, John Tilbury, and others. The result is accessible, revealing and extremely stimulating
