Machine for the Blending of Additive Colour

Though a process of accessing wooden ROM memory the machine prints a sequence of Red, Green, and Blue ink pixels on a 24ft loop of paper.

Once sufficient coverage of the paper is reached the operator may enter the projection-drive compartment and turn the large drive gear as fast as possible. A light sensitive transistor detects the presence of the black registration marks printed beside the rows of pixels and turns on a row of high power LEDs. With the paper moving at over 1000ft per minute the Red, Green and Blue pixels blend to form a series of secondary and tertiary colours.
