The first of the great Reykjavík rock movies, directed by a master of the Icelandic cinema arts. Rokk í Reykjavík, made in 1982, presents us with an extremely young Björk in her earliest incarnation as a pop-punkstress, and also gives us dynamic footage of such Icelandic rock legends as Bubbi Morthens and Einar Örn Benediktsson, along with the poet Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson and many, many more.
